The rivalry between them has been intense but the two companies have different business strategies. Ryanair uses secondary airports to reduce costs where as easyJet flies mainly to leading airports as they try to focus on attracting business travellers as well as leisure travellers even though all its aircraft have single-class cabins. EasyJet’s mission statement says that their job is “To provide our customers with safe, good value, point-to-point air services” and that is exactly what they succed in doing. They are a cheap no frills budget airline. You often hear people complain about Easyjet but in reality they are just a bus company with wings. If you want the frills you should pay extra money and fly with a different airline where you can book your seat and be served a meal. Easyjet is a budget airline and people forget that.
